Oregon officially welcomed home the embedded trainers at a ceremony today in Salem. This is the weekend that the embedded trainers who have spent the last year in Afghanistan have/will reach(ed) Oregon. Welcome home, guys.
Also, on Friday, 30 airmen from the Portland Airbase were sent off to Texas Friday for training (Have a Lone Star Christmas, folks) and will depart for the Kirkuk Regional Airbase (KRAB) in January for a six-month deployment.
